The reception is manned by one member of staff at a time, from the hours of 8.50am until 5.45pm; Monday to Friday. Each one brings their own skills to Old Chambers and deals with tasks in a professional manner.
Liz (Office Manager) has lived in Farnham for over 20 years and has been at Old Chambers since 2014. Liz enjoys the calm, friendly atmosphere at Old Chambers and looks forward to coming to work each day.
Alison (All Rounder) has lived in Farnham for 3 years and enjoys working locally after many years of commuting. Alison loves Farnham for it’s range of independent stores and for its proximity to countryside walks.
Amanda (Accounts Specialist) has also lived in Farnham for over 20 years and has worked at Old Chambers since 2016. Amanda loves working in such a beautiful historic building with so many interesting and lovely people. “The gorgeous home-grown flowers which often grace reception are just the icing on the cake”

From the moment of entering the reception area the elegance and quality of the building will be appreciated. One of Farnham’s oldest legal practices occupied the building for over 150 years and the current décor reflects that history with marble fireplaces, mahogany desks and with old parchment framed documents on the walls.
